About Us
What do you thirst for?

Love is the answer. Whether you know it or not, you are pursuing love. We all are. It’s our life’s pursuit because God made us for Him and He is the source of love.

In 2018, I asked God a question and the answer I received birthed a vision for The Well.
I had discovered that doing life in an authentic community with others who are truly seeking to know Jesus is the fertile soil of transformation, love, joy and freedom. Paired with the way God made me to always notice the one in the room who is standing alone, this discovery led me to ask God a question:
“God, how can I help others experience what You have given me and get to know the real You?”

God answered by showing me a vision of the story recorded in John 4 of the Bible when Jesus went to meet a woman at a well in Samaria. This woman was in desperate need of love, hope, joy, restoration, rescuing and refreshing. Jesus met her right where she was, at the very well she visited every day to draw water. It was an ordinary routine on an ordinary day, yet this day was different - the Savior of the world met her there. In this vision, I could sense the love of Jesus emanate out toward her and how she was filled with so much joy that she had to go run and tell everyone about Him. In the next scene of this vision, I saw the whole community gathered around The Well and in the presence of Jesus, they experienced His love and joy.

This vision came to me when my husband Darrin was driving us to Florida early in the morning.
I excitedly said to him, "We need a well in our community - a place where people can meet Jesus, experience His love and joy and then go tell everyone about Him!"

Darrin responded saying, “That is a great idea!” So, we began to pray with open-hands and surrendered hearts, trusting God to lead every step of the way.

Shortly after, Darrin came to me and said, “What if I use my passion for BBQ to raise money for The Well and call it Feed The Well since we will be feeding food to people and all proceeds will go to The Well?” I loved the idea!
We continued to pray, wait and trust God to reveal His perfect timing.

In 2020, God called me to lay down my marketplace career as a Business Software Consultant to pursue this calling and start the ministry...and then the pandemic hit. But the pandemic did not catch God by surprise. He knew all along that there would be more isolation, depression, suicide, anxiety, death, divorce, division, abuse, addiction, loneliness, hopelessness, despair, church hurt, churches closing, job loss, confusion, rebellion, rejection, shame, broken families, financial struggles, apathy, racism, people living in fear, and a greater need for a place like The Well.
After the pandemic, God led us to a location in South Forsyth County, GA, and brought together a team of five couples, each with unique gifts, talents, and resources, to launch The Well in May 2021.

From the very beginning, God’s message was clear: “I am about the one." So, day by day, we showed up to love "the one" who came to The Well. One became many and The Well began to grow!

Darrin launched the BBQ fundraisers out of The Well offering a monthly pre-order pick-up model. Every meal became more than food; it was a way to love the community through our combined passions of-hospitality, love, Jesus and BBQ!

In 2024, we purchased Fagan’s Biscuit Barn, a Forsyth County icon serving famous biscuits, breakfast favorites, and Southern classics for 18 years. We renamed it Feed The Well BBQ and Biscuit Barn and launched BBQ in February 2026. All proceeds from Feed The Well go to support The Well.

God's love for the people of Forsyth County is the heart behind this ministry.
The Well is a place for everyone!
We are made to do life together. In community, we discover our identity, purpose and destiny!

The Well is a dwelling place for God. We make room for the Spirit of God to have His way in our midst. We create space for people to experience the love of Jesus and to be continually transformed by His love all throughout the week. We are filling a gap between Sunday and Sunday when people typically attend their church services. We are a hub in our community connecting people and organizations who are helping others. We partner with other organizations and ministries who are aligned with our vision to transform our community through love and connection. We serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in our community when a need arises, and we give when we are able to do so as well.

We are continually meeting together to grow in our intimate relationship with Jesus and follow His ways, just as the early followers of Jesus did, as is recorded in the book of Acts in the Bible. As a community, we are pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus. We describe our ministry as "Discipleship through Relationship". This is The Jesus Way!
The Well is most often described this way:
A safe place
A sacred space
A refuge
A haven
A place to just Be
A place of rest
A place of love
A place of peace
A place to grow in intimacy with Jesus
A place to belong
A place to discover identity, value and purpose

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!

Come join us at The Well and encounter Jesus in unimaginable ways and be transformed by His love. You will find hope, healing, connection, belonging, freedom, life, love, joy, purpose and so much more!

Thirst no more!

Love and Be Loved!
